Bullying in Schools
Our next unit deals with novels and we will be reading 2 novels from the Bluford High Series. Before we begin to read them, I want to first discuss the major theme in both of those books, people being bullied by others. We are going to read Bullying in Schools and record:
· Definition of Bullying
· Targets of Bullying
· Causes of Bullying
· Types of Bullying
· What to do if you are bullying
· What you can do if you witness bullying
· What you can do if you or someone else thinks you’re a bully
5 most important points in the section on targets (32–40)
5 most important points in the section on bystanders (41–44)
5 most important points in the section on bullies (45–49)
